Power of Attorney

Estate Planning

We begin with an in-home consultation to determine how best to protect your needs.  It is more than just drafting documents, we will look at many different options for preserving your assets and peace of mind. We will discuss documents that will give you peace of mind if any unforeseen circumstances were to occur. For example:

  • Last Will and Testament -

Directs the administration of certain assets upon your passing.

  • Power of Attorney -

Nominates a person to handle your financial or medical affairs when you are no longer able.

  • Living Will or Advanced Healthcare Directive -

Determines your wishes and specific desires for medical and personal care.

  • Trust - An asset protection tool that allows a third party to hold assets for the benefit of yourself or another person.

When a loved one does not have a Power of Attorney and requires a fiduciary to make personal, medical, or financial decisions, guardianship may be the answer.

I can either act as the fiduciary or provide assistance walking you through the process of obtaining and maintaining guardianship.
